YOUTH LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT COMPETITION
2005 - Andrew Neill became the third student from Banbridge in four years, and the sixth in all, to progress to the Euroscolar day in Strasbourg. The role of honour reads Andrew Neill-2005 , Aiden Reay-2003, Emily Neill-2002, Joanne Mawhinney-1994, Riann Coulter-1994 and Victoria Jennett-1993.

Aidan was one of 1825 young people from 350 schools throughout Ireland who participated in the 2002-03 Rotary’s Youth Leadership & Development Competition. The first stage was at school level and the local school winners were Lisa Henning (Banbridge High School), Deborah Moorehead (Rathfriland High School) and Claire Poots (Dromore High School).

Everyone is a winner in this competition and the other club winners are from the
left: Dannielle Quinn (St. Patrick's College), James Connolly (New Bridge
College), Robyn Morrow (Dromore High School) and Lisa Henning (Banbridge High
School). The 7th winner, not in the picture, was Heather Tate (Rathfriland High
School)
Rotarians from the left are Raymond Pollock, Dennis Livingstone, Trevor Robinson
and 2nd Vice-President Louis Boyle

Lower left is Riann Coulter who went to Strasbourg in 1994, and on the right is Victoria Jennett who was successful in 1993. Victoria is receiving her certificate from Mr. Jim O'Brian, Head of the European Parliament Office in Dublin.
